What Qualifies You to Bring my MINISTRY MEDIA VISION to life?

This is a great time to tell you more about my PASSION. It all started in 1999 back in Nashville, when I was a reporter/anchor for the CBS affiliate, WTVF. My then videographer (Chris O’Neal) and I decided to start a production company geared towards the faith-based community. Back then we would cringe in the newsroom, as we glanced at the television screen and saw a Pastor speaking with such great power, while his media representation was sub par. IT WAS EMBARRASSING! So embarrassing that a righteous indignation rose up in me and I KNEW IMMEDIATELY that I had the ability, skills, knowledge and creativity to make a difference! Just watching television sporadically while in the newsroom week after week, gave me the opportunity to and see just how many Pastors really needed help with their media vision but apparently didn’t know where to begin. That’s when God gave me a vision and a strategy on how to assist churches across the world with the media ministry outreach.

How did you get your start in Media Ministry Outreach?

One great man of God who knew I could make a difference as well, was my then Pastor, Bishop Joseph Warren Walker III Pastor of .Mt. Zion Nashville He encouraged me to move forward with the vision and was our very first client.

First we did 3 commercials for the ministry when it was right at 10 thousand members and transitioning to worshiping at TSU’s Gentry Center. Then he asked us to take over post-production of the ministry broadcast and next thing you know, we were creating a new site. From 1999 to early 2005 D&C continued to produce a great deal of the ministry marketing materials and outreaches for Mt. Zion Nashville, until the ministry was able to transition into doing everything in house. Along the way, we were nominated for Emmys and have won some great awards and recognition.

Here’s video from a LIVE New Year’s Eve service I produced and directed for Mt. Zion Nashville in the Nashville Municipal Auditorium. It’s actually one of my favorite projects! Gospel Artist and former Gospel Dream Winner Benita Washington was closing out the service to usher in 2005, which aired live on The Word Network

Fast forward to 2007 and I’m still assisting as many leaders like you, with their media ministries and visions, as I can. Except now, I do it from my home base of Jacksonville, Florida. Whether on a consulting/coaching basis, short term basis or long-term basis, I can develop great strategic media ministry outreach plans geared to take your ministry to the NEXT LEVEL of implementation.

And while media ministry outreach and marketing can be expensive, because of advances in technology we are able to provide affordable “starter” media ministry solutions for most ministries and non-profit organizations that are truly serious, committed and ready to invest in their media vision.

How long will it take?

How long will it take is a question that is pretty relative to your individual situation. We like to have at least 30 days to work on a media project.  In some cases if our calendar isn’t too full, we’ve been known to push some out within 7-14 business days. On a few occasions we have even produced high quality conference commercials in as fast as 3 days! Yep, it was an URGENT REQUEST.
