The Word of the Lord for 2011 -

A Shifting Has Begun: A Time to Advance!

As we embark upon the dawning of a new decade, we are moved ahead and moving forward with a progressively increasing momentum; pressing us into position and preparing us to stand for greatness.  Not only have we come to the end of a decade, but the end of an era.  As we embark upon 2011, collectively, we must gather ourselves and prepare for the changes that are ahead.  2011 will be a year that is marked with the greatest life transitions that we have ever witnessed.  It is the responsibility of the company of prophets to ready the Body of Christ for what is ahead so that we are prepared to navigate through the undulations of life, the times of crisis, and the times of rejoicing.  This Word of the Lord for 2011 is to give God’s people foresight, insight, and wisdom on the upcoming year so that you will emerge victorious as we break forth into a brand new day!  This is one aspect of the prophet.  Prophecy is given so that people can be forewarned.  Being informed ahead of time gives you the opportunity to align yourself in accordance with the moves of the Spirit of God so that you can stay in sync with Him through the transitions of life.  Like secrets shared between close friends, the mind and the will of God is revealed through prophecy and it enables those who will hear the word and grab ahold of it to prosper.

This is going to be a year full of possibilities and opportunities.  Great power and opportunity will be released to those who, like Ruth and Esther, understand the importance of preparing themselves and positioning themselves in expectation of the King’s favor!  Being informed ahead of time enables you to seize the opportunities that life presents and maximize them to their fullest potential!  As we embark upon the dawning of a new decade, we are moved ahead and moving forward with a progressively increasing momentum; this momentum is pressing us into position and preparing us to stand for greatness.  Not only have we come to the end of a decade, but the end of an era.  As we step into 2011, collectively, we must gather ourselves and prepare for the changes that are ahead.  Now, more than ever, it is important for the Body of Christ to understand that we are approaching God’s expected end (Jer. 29:11)!  While situations and world events may be dark and chaotic, the proverbial “light at the end of the tunnel” is closer than ever before!  We cannot ignore the fact that 2011 will be a crisis time for the world.  Jesus Christ warned that there would be times where we would find ourselves in crisis; but what will set us apart, and set us up for prosperity in 2011 is the choices that we make during these times.

A Time of Shaking so that the Kingdom Emerges

2011 will be a time of great shaking!  The Spirit of the Lord says “Everything that can be shaken will be shaken, and what shall remain shall be the emergence of My Kingdom”!  There will come forth a great shaking to our penal system, because of all the injustice that has been committed on the behalf of men.  There will be a shaking of law enforcement and in the media.  The Lord says, “Don’t be alarmed when everything starts to shift around you”!  We will literally see the shaking of nations and the shaking of governments.

A Time of Great Transition

In 2011, we will witness the greatest life transitions that we have ever seen.  2011 will be a time of great shifting and great shaking.  Merriam-Webster’s dictionary defines a shift as “to change the place, position, or direction of; to go through a change, to assume responsibility of; to change expedients (what is suitable to achieve a particular end in a specific circumstance)”.  Biblically, the number eleven represents both the number of transition, and the number of that which stands to oppose the Godhead!  In 2011, there will be the full manifestation of that which will raise its head to defy the living God!  As power begins to change hands, there will be a shifting in the nations and a shifting in different realms (such as media, government, and economics) as leaders will rise up and will oppose the agenda and purposes of the Kingdom!  People will begin to “cast-off restraint” (Ps. 2:3) and forsake the call of righteousness!

Like no other time, 2011 will be a real manifestation of a transition! There will be shakings and there will be shiftings in the U.S. and in many countries across the globe.  2011 is a year of preparation as God prepares to take over in the realms and spheres that He will commandeer in 2012 to establish His agenda.

There will be a changing of the guards in 2011.  These changes will be evident in the different spheres in the world, and especially the Church.  Dan. 2:21 says that God changes the seasons, sets up kings, and remove kings.  We will be witness to the most divinely orchestrated changes in leadership as God removes individuals from power to set up others.  Already, we have witnessed the precursors of this change through our most recent gubernatorial elections.  Change is coming to this nation and the nations of the world and it is needed indeed.  Those areas that will embrace this divine shift will experience a level of breakthrough like never before as they emerge as models of the type of change that the Lord will usher in in 2012.  Like never before, we must intercede and pray that our communities, cities, and regions embrace the move of God and the leaders that He will use to administer it.

The Spirit of the Lord says that “Giants will fall in 2011″.  We must understand prophetically that these giants must fall in order to create room for God’s chosen leaders to ascend to power.  In Scripture, Goliath’s defeat not only liberated the Nation of Israel, but it catapulted David into prominence and set him on the fast track to becoming king.  Giants in the area of business, media, government, and certain economic structures will fall and God will raise up Davids in their place!  Not only will there be a transition in leadership, but there will also be a linking of generations as a younger generation of leaders begins to rise up!  Specifically, in the Body of Christ there will be a powerful release of a generational anointing like that of Elijah to Elisha and the mantles will begin to connect!  In 2011, God will even begin to cause certain younger ministers to begin to pick up the mantles of the “Fathers of the Faith” and begin to take the anointing to the next level with a greater impact!

Operation Strikeback

We must understand that the warfare has changed!  The times have shifted, as has the warfare!  The unfolding of a new day entails the fulfillment of God’s promises, and ensures that there will be a fight against the demonic forces assigned to prevent its manifestation!  The Church must adapt to these changes and stay ahead of the fight through prophetic insight and understanding!  During this season where the warfare is increasing, strong intercession and prayer needs to be established through a prophetic guard!  The Lord says that this is the time where He will cause His people to strike back!  Where the enemy has attacked and warred against us, God is releasing an anointing for His people to strike back because He is striking back!

The focus of our warfare must shift!  We have to grab hold of the fact that the war is not just about our current situations; rather it is for the inheritance of the generations after us.  The things that we build, our children will inhabit.  The choices we make, our children will reap the consequences.  The things that we permit to be, our children will have to live with.  The scope of our warfare is less communal and more global, and every choice that we make impacts the global advancement of the Kingdom of God. Scripturally, whenever God commanded His people to strike, it was for the unleashing of a generational blessing, and also a revelation of a particular principle that would protect and prosper His people.

-    Biblical Examples of God’s Order to Strike!

• In Exodus 17:6, God tells Moses to strike the Rock for the release of water (water represents provision, prosperity, revelation, and the presence of the Holy Spirit)!
• In Numbers 20:10-11, Moses again approached the Rock at the behest of the people.  Instead of speaking to the Rock (and understanding the changing of the seasons and adopting the appropriate strategy), Moses struck the rock in anger and disqualified himself from entering the Promised Land (because he did not change with the seasons)!
  • In 2 Kings 13:18-19, Elisha commanded the king of Israel to strike as they warred against the oppressive forces surrounding them!  The amount of times the king struck equaled the level of victory he experienced!  In this season, we must strike and keep striking until the enemy is consumed!  The warfare is over the Land!

-          God is wanting to release a harvest to His people, but they will have to contend with Baal structures in order to break forth into the harvest!

-          The harvest isn’t just about wealth, but it is about contending with that which will block Harvest

A Divine Transfer of Wealth

The Spirit of the Lord began speaking to me at the end of 2009 that we would enter into a season of wealth transfer, where we would witness unprecedented levels of prosperity, inheritance, and wealth being released to the Body of Christ.  This wealth transfer has been the subject of much prophetic discourse, but the full manifestation has yet to appear.  Like Elisha and the Shunnamite woman, we must understand that the promises of God are “yea” and “amen”, but we will have to war for their manifestation!  There is a momentum that has been released that will launch us forward into a new decade!  At the beginning of the year, the Spirit of the Lord spoke profoundly to me that this was the year where God would strategically shift members of the Body of Christ, moving them into their places of inheritance and prosperity, divinely orchestrating circumstances so that the wealth that we are destined to possess would be transferred into our lives!  There will be a release of wealth through creativity in 2011 that will cause people to think a thing that will produce Kingdom ideas that have the potential to produce billions of dollars in revenue.  In 2011, there will be a radical wave of entrepreneurship, business ideas, creativity, and witty inventions.  The world will take incredible leaps and bounds in the area of medicine and in science.  God will release creative strategies and reveal mysteries through dreams that will revolutionize the world!  God is positioning ones who will seek Him earnestly and hear Him, so that He can release innovations that have been withheld until this time.

A Time of Planning and Vision

2011 will be a time of strategy, planning, and vision.  This is a time to seek the Lord for the vision and the plans for our families, churches, personal lives, and every other stratum.  This will be key because the tools and strategies that provided for us in the last season will not work for us in this season.  We must make the shift in our minds to embrace the new day, and be diligent to seek God’s plan for our lives in THIS season.  Jer. 29:11 says that God knows the plans that He has for you, and we are assured that they are good and for our prosperity.  2011 can be a year of great prosperity and development if we make the wise choice to seek God for His direction.  We cannot depend on man’s wisdom in this season, because the choices that we will have to make and the decisions that we will be faced with will call for a higher wisdom than man’s. Prov. 29:18 says that without a vision, people will perish.  The trials and storms of 2010 and before have literally crushed the hope and the vision that guides the lives of some individuals, sending them wandering through life like ones wandering through a dry desert with no direction or relief.  God will allow some of us to peek into our future in order for us to have hope to hold on through the vicissitudes of life. This year, we must guard our relationships!  Our relationships are key in this season and they must be protected against the forces of division and disunity.  This year will be a very strategic year of cycle breaking and history making.  There will be the breaking of cycles that will impact communities, cultures, cities, states, and nations.  There will be the breaking of cycles that will impact communities, cultures, cities, states, and nations.  The mindset that governs the way that many of us live our lives will begin to shift, and we will begin to experience unprecedented breakthroughs in many areas.  This will also be a year of great deliverance!  Not only will people be set free from oppressive bondage and demonic entrapment, but there will also be great deliverance from strongmen and ruler spirits that rule over bloodlines and generations!  Many individuals will be set free and delivered from the occult!

A Time of Awakening That Which is Asleep

In John 11:11, we see an awesome prophetic revelation of that which God will do for His Church in 2011.  In the Scripture, Jesus states that He is going to visit His friend (Lazarus), a friend whom everybody thinks is dead, but Jesus reveals He is only asleep.  Jesus promises to go and awake His friend, and He promises to awaken His Church!  This year will be a great awakening for God’s Church.  God will begin to strip away the grave clothes of the old season as we begin to embrace His presence and authority in a new way.  The Church will begin to undergo a transformation in appearance and in ministry as God prepares His church for the takeover that He will do in 2012.  This will be a season of pruning away and the falling away of dead works.  In the Old Testament, Moses and the Israelites had to be purged of the dead works and doubt that prevented them from completing an eleven (11) day journey into the prophesied land of promise!  In the Gospels, the Apostles that Jesus chose to walk with Him went through an intense time of crisis that cut off dead works (Judas) and refined and purified (Peter) those who would stand at the helm of an Apostolic thrust that would literally change the world!  Churches and ministries will be pruned of unfruitful boughs and purged of dead works so that we will be ready for what God will do in 2012.  There must be a GREATER cry of holiness and righteousness that returns to this nation and to the Church.

A New Spirit of Prophecy Will Hit the Church

The Spirit of the Lord says that there will come forth a new spirit of prophecy upon the Church!  Unlike never before, the Prophets will be needed for guidance, direction, and correction to instruct both nations and individuals in the ways of God.  The prophets and prophetic intercessors will step into a new level of boldness, authority, and accuracy; and the Word of the Lord will be released with a power and a thrust never witnessed by this generation!  Another level of the Issachar anointing will be released, for the Body of Christ must know the seasons and the times.  The Spirit of the Lord says that “we must know the seasons, the times, and the signs of the times, for they are the key!  They are key to our emergence as the Kingdom in these last days, and they are key to the world witnessing who I AM”!

During the Crisis, There is a Place of Safety

In the midst of Crisis, we must know that there is a place of safety.  Psalm 91 describes to us a place where God’s people will dwell during the times of crisis and uncertainty.  More than ever, we must know the presence of God and allow Him to permeate and reign in every situation and life circumstance.  The Spirit of the Lord will raise a standard against the enemy in 2011!  The Church will enter into a new level of authority, especially in the area of spiritual warfare.  As things begin to rise from every different direction, God’s people will step out in boldness and authority to confront that which stands to oppose the Kingdom!

The Dawning of A New Prophetic Era

One of the greatest achievements of 2011 will be that we will step into a new prophetic era!  The prophet will stand at the helm of one of the greatest transitional years ever experienced in the history of humankind.  This new era represents the emergence of Jesus Christ and His  dominion in the earth realm!  This is not to say that Christ’s presence in the earth realm is not already influential and felt in every sphere of life, but this year will be the budding of something different.  Christ’s presence will no longer just be that of a manger-born Child, nor of a suffering Servant, but of the reigning King of all creation!  It will not just be His compassion and love that will be felt, but it will be His power and the weight of His authority! Every realm will be impacted by the emergence of His Lordship as vessels of honor are sent forth in to every facet of life to initiate reformation!  As the dawn breaks and His light begin to shine forth, there will be a breaking forth of a new governmental authority through the Church and through His Apostles and Prophets!  More than anything, it will not be denied that this year will be the year of Christ and the year of His Kingdom!
