Great WORD preached by Bishop McKissick Jr at 730 and 1030 at Bethel Baptist Institutional Church. First Service was “I Can See It” & the second one had an Entrepreneurial Edge entitled “He’s All In Your Business”
Bishop McKissick also OFFICIALLY launched his new personal ministry website www.wonthedoit.com which we at D & C Ministry Solutions were honored to develop for him. It features his preaching and of course ministry products like DVDs, CDs and downloadable MP3s of his messages. Plus there is always a MESSAGE OF THE MONTH, that’s highlighted via the church’s youtubepage as well.
Excited that we have several more we are getting ready to roll out this week and next. Woohoo!
Was also glad that by the end of the day I was able to stop by and spend some quality time with Pastors Bobby & Angel Thomas who just celebrated their FIRST year as Pastors!

Just how effective are TV commercials, anyway?

Hey there,
Yep, it’s my birthday and I’m trying to “work & play” at the same time. lol Been meaning to post this since yesterday.
Two questions I receive a lot from those who are considering having a TV commercial produced are:
“How effective is using a TV commercial?”
“How effective is BET?”
Since I seem to receive questions like these often, I want to share what tends to be my general YET specific response.
First and foremost, because we produce high-quality commercial spots, I definitely receive great reports on these TV spots regularly. Before the process starts, I like to speak with the client one on one to get a good feel for the type of style that will work best to portray their organization’s image in the best light.
Plus, each client also fills out a client-intake form that helps our team determine what type of “production” flavor will be MOST successful.
No matter what, at the end of the successful project, you can best believe you will have a combination of media products to use in order to CROSS PROMOTE your organization and/or event via several media methods.
I tell my client partners: “ The key is cross promoting and using the right methods and channels at the right time.!”
For instance one TV spot can be used via youtube, facebook, and even at church. While the post-produced audio also be used via radio as a promo Essentially, you really do have to have a strategic plan as you go into project production and more than anything you really have to KNOW who you are trying to reach.
So when the question is asked: “How effective is local BET or ESPN etc? …it all depends on who you are trying to reach. This means you have to make sure you are hitting your core audience according to the demographics that are being reached via any given TV channel.
